METASTASIS TO HEART------

tumor most commonly metastatize to heart is-----

1)melanoma
2)NHL
3)hodgkin's lymphoma
4)breast ca

confused

[doubt: (1) or (4)????]

in reference with harrison 16th edn1422 the most of cancers that metastatise to heart are breast and lung,so among options breast carcinoma is the best option and sec deposits for melanoma are seen in small bowel.

the tumor that has greatest propensity to metastatize to the heart is- malignant melanoma.. BUT in absolute numbers the tumor metastatising to the heart most frequently is Ca lung and Ca breast..
so, i think the answer here should be malignant melanoma.

most common metastasis found in the heart- Ca lung and Ca breast( because these are more prevalent)
hope its clear now...it depends on how the question is framed..
